In 2024, the management team at My Kindy engaged with HMC after experiencing challenges with team morale, where the leadership team and educators were feeling burnt out and in survival mode.

Solutions Provided:
To address these concerns, HMC began with an NQA1- NQA7 audit to identify gaps and strengths for the Centre and create a clear focus plan for the service.
The team established a leadership structure to build a distributed leadership approach, designed monthly plans, and clarified roles and responsibilities. In some quality areas, they identified snippets of exceeding practices and began strengthening those areas.

Results Achieved:
After less than three months of HMC coaching and mentoring,
the service underwent Assessment and Rating and received exceeding theme indicators. The centre has a strong team morale, with a great leadership team and an active children’s council.
