"We have a Holistic Diary and it’s working well. On each day there are sections -educator’s to do/ follow ups, family to do/follow ups, admin to do/follow up. A blank section on the right-hand side of the page for any messages or documentation, then the lower half of the page it has 7 sections for the 7 quality areas where we write down dot points and this is used for the QIP. We fill in a weekly critical reflection sheet on a Friday -what’s working well, what’s not working, educator’s reflection, children’s reflection, does the environment need to change etc. We will continue with these room diaries next year -they work well."
